First, I had trouble with some rectangles. Specifically, while editing edges. For some reason, a lot of the edges had their move axises rotated at odd angles. I wish I had thought to screencap it, but I hadn't. So, have an artist's rendition instead:
(Pretend it's on an edge instead of a vertex.)
This was insufferably annoying when I was trying to make exact movements to the edges along the axis. I have no idea how this happened, so I didn't have the faintest idea of how to fix it. I did find a few workarounds, however, such as by moving other edges or vertices that weren't as broken to achieve the same effect, and by remembering that invaluable little tool depicted in the image on the right.
I guess it's a good thing that I had multiple ways of achieving the same effect. This has been a good reminder to not rely on only a single method. Oh, I also got reminded that 3DS Max's UV editor likes to break in strange ways whenever it can. Hotkeys broken left and right, pelt mapping acting strangely, etc. Good thing I don't need perfect UV's for the pallet jack.
Models forthcoming.
